Race Porsche 944
Our race Porsche is a type 944 N/A
(normally aspired, so no turbo)
The engine a 2,5 liter 8 valve, 220 nm, 170 hp.
Differences with a street Porsche:
- different airbox
- extra cooling for coolwater and oil
- lighter flywheel
- race suspension
The car is totally empty inside, just to keep out all the materials that can burn.
So.. in the car there's just 1 raceseat and a rollbar and a standard dashboard.
The car stands lower on the wheels than a normal road Porsche; the lower the car, the more grip.
Which means different shockbreakers than a road car and an extra stabalizor under the hood to connect the front wheels.
The car also has cooled brake discs and different brake pads especially manufactured for race cars.
We use special motoroil for high rpms. and special brake fluid for the high engine temperature.
We changed the side windows from glass to Lexan for safety reason and weight (lexan is lighter).
