After three times a 7th place, and 8th place and a 10th place in the series, my results were good enough to start from the first row in the B final of the Dutch Championship at Oldenzaal, on June 10th.
I had a good start and was able to Follow Noelle Smulders.
Halfway the race I was faster and able to put pressure on her.
The last corner for the straight I was able to overtake her from the outside where she didn’t expect it.
I felt quite sure I was winning the race, but 2 corners before the finished she pushed me aside a bit and took over first place again.
It was an enormous battle with 3 karts for the top 3.
It was good to be competitive between al those youngsters!
